Perfection is a road, not a destination.
A modern success story

In 2000, Noble Automotive unleashed a shockwave through the super car market with the launch of the M12. A scorching mix of performance, race-bred dynamics and unparalleled build quality, the M12 could be bought for a faction of the cost of its rivals yet gave an electrifying yet exploitable driving experience on road or track. Rave reviews in the motoring press fuelled demand for what journalists and buyers alike saw as more than a credible alternative to established brands.

Noble is established

From the humble beginnings in the form of the M10, Noble Automotive offered up to the motoring press a unique combination of style and performance. Autocar was the first magazine to test the car in 1999 and was instantly bowled over. The M10 possessed a brilliant chassis, and was re-styled to become the fixed head M12. Performance of a normally aspirated 2.5-litre V6 engine was enhanced with the addition of twin turbochargers, raising power to 310bhp (314PS) and torque to 320lb ft (434Nm).

Again, Autocar had the first steer of the M12 and lavished praise upon the car's handling, styling and performance. Since then, the M12 has won Autocar's annual Grip Challenge and came 2nd in its Best Driver's car contest. Auto Express - another major national weekly magazine in the UK - awarded Noble its Specialist Manufacturer of the Year Award in 2002 and rated the M12 first in a group test against the Porsche GT3, BMW M3 CSL and TVR T350.

Jeremy Clarkson, the UK's foremost motoring writer and TV broadcaster, also rated the M12 as his Driver's Car of the Year in 2001 and 2002 and, in a December 2003 Top Gear, stated that the Noble was his favourite British car.

Noble: One Vision:

The new Team has dedicated itself to produce cars that represent the Noble ethos, where new design ideas are encouraged, engineering concepts are tested and proven, world class suppliers are engaged and involved, and where the car is as current as today. The skills and talents of the Team benefit from their collective decades of automotive workmanship and design, working together, all with One Vision.

The Cars

Released to critical acclaim by the motoring press, the M15 garnered another Top Gear rave review, this time from Richard Hammond (he did not give Jeremy a chance to drive he had so much fun!) Many comments from others in the press focused on the sheer presence of the car, pointing out the nicely balanced combination of style, substance, performance and driver engagement.

That pre-production prototype was the subject of a complete in-house review, and it was decided that whilst very, very good, it was not good enough. Not fast enough. Not stiff enough. Not beautiful enough. The Noble Build Team decided they could do better. So the Team has now rethought, revised, and is now re-engineering virtually every component on the car. The Team's skills have been able to take the core ideas of that one prototype and have made it possible for Noble to create a two car offering, with the models sharing significant features, whilst being very different in feel and appearance.

The M600, to be released first, is in prototype stage, is on the road, and is being fully tested. Please visit us often for news and updates on this exciting version of the newest Noble, and news about the next to be developed, the M15C.
